Non-Residential Accounts

Quick Answer: This article covers non-residential accounts in GuestPoint.
Just like the Debtors Tab, you can access Non-Residential Accounts from the Accounts Tab. The only difference in accessing these accounts here is that you can search for a specific account including closed accounts. To view or add charges to the account, just click on the Account Name.

To create a new non-residential account, you can click the 'New Account' button located at the top right corner of the screen.

When you create or edit a Non-Residential Account, you will see the Non-Residential Account screen. This works just like a Room Account, except you nominate who the account is for at the top of the screen. You can add items to the account, make payments, print and email the account and send to Debtors (if the guest has a company and ‘Allow Debtor Invoices’ has been ticked in the Company screen).

When you bring the account back to a zero balance, you can click ‘Close Account’ which you can see when you click the 'More' button at the bottom section. This will remove it  from the Non-Residential Accounts summary. You can also view a log of emails sent for this account.

For more information about adding charges and payments, see Room Accounts.
