Reservation Balance Highlight - Easily Identify Bookings with Outstanding Payments

Reservation Balance Highlight - Easily Identify Bookings with Outstanding Payments

A feature in GuestPoint that will allow you to easily identify if a booking on your Reservation Plan screen is still outstanding for payments by highlighting their booking with 3 different colours.

It primarily functions based on the "Departure Balance" figure from bookings.

It works on Checked In or future Reserved bookings that do not have a payment, have a partial payment, or a full payment.

You can enable this feature in Management > Setup Tab > Property > Property Details Tab > Navigate to "Reservations" in the "Settings" section on the right-hand side.

Reservation Balance Highlight Colour Legend
There are three main colour highlights for this feature. The feature itself is based on the "Departure Balance" of a booking and the current Account Balance in the Room Account.

These highlights assist you in easily identifying from the Main Reservation Plan screen if a booking has been paid off or is still outstanding without pulling any reports.

Red Highlight - if the booking status is Checked In and the booking's Room Account Balance does not have a 0 balance or there is an outstanding balance. Usually indicated by a Non-Zero balance for the Departure Balance.

Orange/Brown/Tan Highlight - If the booking status is Reserved and the booking has been partially paid. The Departure Balance would be a Non-Zero balance.

Green Highlight - If the booking status is Checked In or Reserved and the booking has been paid in full. This is usually indicated by a 0 figure for the Departure Balance.
