Transaction Accounts

Here you can manage existing or create new accounts to track revenue.

Creating a New Transaction Account in Owner Accounting

Select + Add Record, fill out the details as below, and select Save.



  1. ACCOUNT CODE: Enter in a one word code to help you identify the transaction account
  2. CLASSIFICATION: Enter in an appropriate classification for the transaction account. Maintenance or adhoc transaction accounts should be set to Other
  3. DESCRIPTION: The full name of the transaction account
  4. DEFAULT DISBURESMENT: Select which entity is the recipient of the revenue for this transaction account. Most transaction accounts will be set to BUSINESS.
  5. GST CODE: Select the tax rate for this transaction account.

Managing Existing Transaction Accounts

Double click on a an existing account, and adjust the details as required. You can set an account as Inactive, if it is no longer required.

Syncing Transactions Accounts from GuestPoint PMS

Any transaction account that has been created in GuestPoint PMS, needs to be synced to GuestPoint Owner Accounting by selecting GP Sync. Any transactions accounts that were created in GuestPoint PMS, will display with a green tick in the GP column as below:
