streamline communication between hotel staff and guests. It centralizes all messaging channels, allowing for real-time updates & notifications. Within GuestPoint you now have the ability to manage emails and text from a centralised window.
Using The Message Hub
Your initial Email and or SMS will now generate a thread inside of the Message Hub. To access the Message Hub follow the below screenshots.
From here you can see existing email threads and there 'Event' which refers to the status of the email. If you have an incoming email with the 'Received' Event you are able to reply to this email within the Message Hub. By clicking on 'View' you can open up the email chain and respond to the email.
Note: optional filters highlighted: Show Unread Emails if you would only like to see emails you have not responded to. Show Conversation View will keep conversations to a single thread instead of showing a new line when a response is received like how an ordinary inbox would work.
Below i have clicked 'View' on a clients response and it has opened up our email chain. See below screenshots.
As you can see in the above screenshot we now also use HTML email format. So you can upload signatures and have more flexibility on how your response comes out of GuestPoint.
SMS SETUP
Sendingtext messages from reservations will also place itself into the message hub.
If you don't have SMS enabled you will not be able to text from GuestPoint. Please follow below on how to setup SMS.

SMS GATEWAY SETUP
If you are using the GuestPoint Text Message Gateway you have the below 3 options
Name : This will send text messages with the name you input when you select this option. Note with this option the client is not able to send an SMS back this is a one way setup.
Number (recommended) : This is where you can input the property Mobile number this will allow two way texting.
Gateway Assigned Number: This will provide a randomly generated number. This allows two way texting but each text you send to a client will generate a completely new thread.
MESSAGE HUB SMS
Texting works very similar to email. Just click View on a received SMSand you will then be able to reply.
Notifications
Notifications willhighlighted against the 'Message Hub' option on the home screen.
You will also get notifications inside of reservations if an email or a sms has not been responded to.
