Quick Answer: Go to Housekeeping, click 'Today's Schedule' to generate today's Housekeeping Schedule containing the cleaning schedule for today, assign rooms to your cleaners, produce housekeeper reports for your cleaners, and track your current housekeeping schedule progress.
Housekeeping Schedule
GuestPoint has a simple Housekeeping Module which allows you to manage your daily cleaning schedule, assign rooms to cleaners, produce housekeeper reports for your cleaners, and track your housekeeping schedule progress. It also handles general area cleaning (reception, pool, etc).
When you click on the Housekeeping button in Management > Daily Tasks Tab > Housekeeping, you should see below options Housekeeping Schedule options.
You will be using Today's Schedule most commonly in the morning to first assign your Housekeepers to rooms to clean and produce cleaning reports for them.
As rooms are cleaned, you can go back to this schedule at anytime to indicate when they are cleaned or put in any notes as required.

You can also view historic housekeeping schedules or future housekeeping schedules.
Setting up your Housekeeping
Before you can use the Housekeeping Schedule, you will have to configure your Housekeeping settings first in Management > Setup Tab > Housekeeping
You will need to configure 1 mandatory setting (estimated times for cleans), and two optional settings (List of Housekeepers and General Areas)
- MANDATORY - Rooms Tab - Estimated time for Stay cleans and Depart cleans per room type
- OPTIONAL - Housekeepers Tab - List of Housekeepers
- OPTIONAL - General Areas Tab - List of General Areas to be cleaned

here and ensure you at least have your clean times inputted before you start to use the
Housekeeping Schedule.
A list of Housekeepers is optional and the same with adding General Areas to clean.

Without clean times inputted for each room type, the Housekeeping Schedule will not work properly.
Creating Today's Schedule
Click 'Today's Schedule' to generate the day's cleaning. To view a past schedule, select a date and click 'Preview'.
Assigning Housekeepers
Tick which housekeepers are working today.
GuestPoint calculates Stay and Depart cleans based on today's movements. Assign rooms to each cleaner by dragging. General Areas are scheduled the same way.
Printing the Schedule
Two print options: the Detailed Report includes guest notes, the Summary Report is just the room list.
Tracking Progress
Update room status as cleaning is completed. GuestPoint compares estimated vs actual time per cleaner.
Click 'All Clean' to mark all rooms at once.
Mobile App
Cleaners can update status from their phone. Set a unique 4-character PIN for each housekeeper in the Housekeepers tab.
Assign rooms and save the schedule.
Each cleaner opens the app, enters their PIN, and sees their assigned rooms with clean type.
Managers see real-time updates as cleaners complete tasks.
